Industrial Solar GmbH from Freiburg / Germany and GETABEC Vietnam Co., Ltd. from Ho Chi Minh City / Vietnam have signed a cooperation agreement to jointly develop the market for solar process heat systems for industrial applications.
The Vietnamese Government has given incentives to accelerate the usage of Solar Energy for the benefit of Vietnam. Still Vietnam has a high per capita greenhouse emission. A large share of Energy Consumption is used by the heating process in the industrial processes. Biomass boilers are one of the possibilities, but the price for biomass is in the increase and still a substantial Carbon food Print will be the result. The usage of solar thermal collectors is the obvious step in the right direction and it will support to a high degree the goal of carbon neutrality.
Industrial Solar’s linear Fresnel collector can provide heat with temperatures up to 400 °C in a power range up to 30 MW. It can be operated with pressurized water or thermal oil – or it can directly generate steam, which is an important heat transfer medium in industry.
Solar Process Steam Generators
Steam is the most common heat carrier in industry. The Industrial Solar Fresnel Collector is optimized for solar steam generation and is thus the cleanest option for process heat supply. The steam generator can be easily integrated into the customer's existent steam network and operate automatically and independently from the conventional boiler.
Alternatively, our solar process heat solutions can be designed to operate using pressurized water or thermal oil as heat carrier.
