History of GETABEC

A Success Story

1983

In 1983 the entrepreneur Suchat M started the company GETABEC to sale, distribute and install German steam boilers and related equipment in Thailand. During the strong industrialization of Thailand the demand for fire tube boiler increased.The cooperation with German Companies and know how providers led to the name "German Thai Boiler Engineering Company or in short GETABEC.

1992

In 1992 GETABEC sign a technical cooperation agreement with Schneider Kessel Berlin. In the newly built factory in Bangplee, GETABEC starts to manufacturer fire-tube boilers under the license with Schneider Kessel Berlin. The cooperation with Saacke was extended and GETABEC became the authorized dealer and service agency for Saacke Burners in Thailand.

1994

Start of the Fire Tube Production at Bangplee Factory.

1995

New Office GTB Building Bangkok.

GETABEC applied and successfully got certified to the quality management system ISO 9001 by RWTUV Germany (Later TUV NORD). The Bangplee factory received also the approval in accordance to TRD 201 (German Steam Boiler Code) and AD Merkblatt HP0 (German Pressure Vessel Code) to manufacture boilers and pressure equipment meeting the strict requirements of the European Market.

2004

2004 To meet the requirements of national and international clients GETABEC extended its scope to produce water tube boilers with a capacity upto 250T Steam per hour. The newly established factory in Rayong in the industrial heart of Thailand started production in 2004. The new Factory GTB 2 has all the state of art machinery to produce the heavy wall-thickness drums, the membrane walls and also has the capability to bend and tube banks. GTB 2 has been certified not only to the European Codes but also received the ASME U; S; R; PP Stamp.

2007

With new products GETABEC's design and research group was growing and to provide an adequate working environment a new office adjourning the old GTB office complex was established.

2012

As the international investments in Vietnam started GETABEC decided to open a Representation Office in Vietnam. The main task was to consult customers and organize the sales activities in Vietnam and acted as a anchor office.

2014

In 2014 GETABECs fully own subsidiary GETABEC Vietnam was formed to cater the Vietnamese Market. Formation of GETABEC Vietnam Company Limited.

2017

GETABEC went public and changed Name to GETABEC Public Company LTD.

2019

Following the expansion course and also to add new high tech know how to the GETABEC Group, a Joint Venture between Schneider Kessel Berlin and GETABEC Public LTD. Thailand was formed as Schneider Energy System GmbH with the head quarter in Berlin Germany. This company brings specialized know how for special steam boiler into the GETABEC Group and adds new products to GETABECs portfolio.

2021

The increasing awareness for environmental friendly, carbon neutral technologies encouraged GETABEC Vietnam Co., Ltd. to add direct solar steam generation in the product portfolio of GETABEC Vietnam Co. Ltd. In 2021 signed an cooperation agreement with Industrial Solar GmbH from Freiburg Germany to develop the market for solar procees heat systems for industrial applications.

In 2021 moved into its new GETABEC Vietnam's head quarter in Ho Chi Minh City at 30 Cao Duc Lan, An Phu, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City 700000

Certification

Starting with the formation of GETABEC until now, it is always the desire of GETABEC to fulfill the customer requirements towards quality and reliability of products services. Already in 1995 Getabec implemented a quality management system covering all process in the organization. GETABEC also implemented a quality control system to ensure that our boilers are meeting the strict requirements of the ASME code as well of the European Directive for Pressure Equipment. On request by the client, GETABEC will be able to deliver the boiler and pressure vessel either with the CE Mark or as stamped ASME Boiler and pressure vessel.

For many years GETABEC is also the authorized agent for Saacke Burners for the maintenance, upgrade, servicing and refurbishment of Saacke Burners.

Environment is all our concern. In our desire to apply the state of art design in steam generation technology we have joint hands with Industrial solar to provide direct solar steam generation plants to the market.
